We are currently seeking an ambitious Logistics Coordinator to join our Logistics and Material Planning team. You will be the main interface between Harbinger internal teams and its carriers (2PL/3PL/4PL).

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Partner with material planners and buyers to create and/or update transportation plans that will be used to tender transportation needs to carriers.
  • Manage panel of carriers for any transportation needs (ocean, air, ground, parcel)
  • Ensure supplier documentation is complete, available to carriers and customs brokers on time and in compliance with regulations.
  • Book and track shipments from pick up to delivery.
  • Handle claims for any lost/damaged/late shipments.
  • Escalate any transportation delay if any impact to production is identified.
  • Find opportunities to reduce freight spend such as consolidation or downgrading of service level. Responsible for KPIs such as Inbound Logistics Cost and Outbound Logistics cost.
  • Manage carriers performance and hold them accountable using appropriate KPIs (OTIF, detention fees,...) and appropriate governance (carrier reviews and meetings, QBR,...)
  • Issues RFQ/RFP to carriers for regular transport lanes and project cargo.
  • Oversees outbound shipments including samples, Engineering/Service requirements, RMAs/returns, and finished chassis/step vans.

Other requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics, minimum 1 year of international logistics experience
  • Excel advanced skills (pivot table, lookup formulas, etc.)
  • Knowledge of incoterms is mandatory
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of US CBP import process is necessary
  • Hazmat experience/certification preferred
  • Vehicle shipping experience preferred
  • Prior carrier work experience preferred
  • Experience with Oracle Netsuite is nice to have
  • Experience with a TMS nice to have
  • Spanish and/or Chinese Mandarin nice to have
