Your Mission

The Desktop Support Analyst role serves as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance. This position provides timely, professional support across hardware, software, and collaboration tools while helping ensure a smooth and productive employee experience.

This role is well-suited for a motivated self-starter who enjoys problem-solving, taking initiative, and working closely with others. You’ll collaborate with teams across the organization, support day-to-day IT operations, and continue building practical experience within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Your Day-to-Day Adventures

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests from local and remote users via phone, email, and ticketing systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common hardware, software, and connectivity issues; escalate more complex issues when appropriate
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders by actively listening, asking effective questions, and communicating clearly
  • Provide both short-term workarounds and long-term solutions to technical issues
  • Assist with the setup and support of meeting rooms, audio-visual, and conferencing equipment
  • Document procedures, solutions, and user guides; provide training and assistance to end users as needed
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including system access, equipment setup, and inventory updates
  • Coordinate hardware shipments using courier or postal services
  • Assist with infrastructure upgrades and communicate with vendors under guidance
  • Occasionally support hardware installations at various office locations
  • Contribute to ad-hoc IT projects and operational tasks as required

Who You Are

You are a motivated and dependable IT professional who takes pride in delivering excellent service and support. You enjoy helping others, approach problems with curiosity and patience, and are comfortable balancing multiple requests in a fast-paced environment. You’re able to work independently while also collaborating closely with teammates and stakeholders across the business. Organized and detail-oriented, you value clear documentation and effective communication, and you’re always eager to learn new technologies, processes, and best practices to continuously improve how IT services are delivered.

What You Bring

  • College or university education in IT, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in an IT helpdesk, desktop support, or technical support role
  • Basic understanding of IT service management concepts (ITIL knowledge is an asset)
  • Experience with IT helpdesk tools such as ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus, TeamViewer, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and basic Azure functionality
  • Exposure to device provisioning tools such as Microsoft Autopilot is an asset
  • Experience supporting collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Zoom), including basic hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Experience working with hardware vendors (e.g., Dell, Lenovo) for troubleshooting or warranty-related support
  • Awareness of IT security, data protection, and compliance best practices
  • Experience with IT inventory tracking and asset management processes
  • Comfortable delivering training or walkthroughs to small groups (1–20 people)
  • Willingness to work outside regular business hours or respond to after-hours issues
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs

Compensation Details

  • $70,000 - $85,000
